Download the Hik-Connect App from your device's app store.

You will need to select agree here or you will not be able to use the app.

Select OK, assuming you live in the USA.

Select Login/Register. This will allow you to build an account to use on multiple devices.

Select the blue

button under Password.

Select the red Agree button.

Select your region and hit the check mark at the top left of the screen.

You can register with an email or your phone number. Either way is fine. After you have entered your email or phone number, hit the red "Get Security Code" button at the bottom.

Once you have hit the "Get Security Code" button, you will get an email or text with the security code.

Enter the security code and the finish button will become active. Then hit the finish button.

It will be your choice if you want face ID. It also depends on the type of device you are using as well. Some devices have this feature and some don't.

At this point, your device is setup with your remote view account. You can hit the red "Add Device" button.

You will need to select OK and allow the app to access your camera. At this point you will need to access your NVR settings and find the QR code under settings. The next step will help you find this on your NVR.

Click the blue gear at the top of the page. On the left hand side of the page, click Network -> Advance -> Platform Acess.

Click the enable check box close to the top of the page. Make up your own verification code. Click apply at the bottom of the page.

Make sure the status says online. Open the app on your phone and scan the QR code. Review step 14 and 15 to access the QR code scanner from the app.
